Fenix3Club wasn't born from a spreadsheet or a business plan. It grew out of a group of people who loved doing sport together — and still do.
Our story
The Slovak sports club Fenix3Club was officially founded in 2017 by Juraj Perina and Ondrej Obst — two friends who wanted the kind of club they would enjoy training in themselves: no unnecessary bureaucracy, great atmosphere, shared experiences.
The club is registered as a civic association under the abbreviation FX3BA, is based in Bratislava and is led by Juraj Perina. We focus mainly on triathlon, running and swimming.
What makes us different? Our size — and we consider it an advantage. All members know each other well outside sport too. Training with us is as much a reason to see friends as it is to log the miles.

Ondrej Obst
The swimming part of our training has professional leadership. Ondrej — co-founder of the club — is a former long-time member of the Slovak national swimming team and multiple national champion in the 100 m butterfly and 200 m individual medley. He studied coaching at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Comenius University in Bratislava.
He coaches swimmers from complete beginners to triathletes working on technique, speed and endurance. His rule number one: swimming should be a joy.
